Leading actuarial initiatives, the full-time State Licensed Actuarial Director will ensure high-quality standards across analytics and finance teams, guiding model development and improving workflows in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Participate in team forums to guide model development and ensure actuarial standards are met Review and challenge model design and assumptions, establishing quality standards for outputs Manage multiple projects, coaching team members and aligning work with business priorities Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or data science) Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (ASA or FSA) 5+ years of experience in a health actuarial setting Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Proven ability to evaluate and improve complex actuarial models
