Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake a range of essential duties to support our clients effectively. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health conditions and specific needs.

• Formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to patient requirements.

• Facilitating both in-person and virtual counseling sessions with individuals, couples, families, and support groups to foster open communication and emotional processing.

• Collaboratively engaging with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors and specialists, to ensure a comprehensive treatment strategy for clients.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, including documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes, while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay informed about advancements in mental health treatment.

• Offering support groups and psychoeducation to both patients and caregivers to assist them during decision-making processes and emotional challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on cancer patients and their families as they navigate the intricacies of living with the disease. You will provide support for individuals facing various phases of cancer care, including diagnosis and treatment, managing the emotional and psychological components of the disease, and supporting those in survivorship or palliative care. The diverse needs of this population require a compassionate and adaptive approach, understanding their unique challenges and providing the appropriate guiding support.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must possess the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in accordance with State Regulations.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party background check.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
