Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions in a respectful and individualized manner.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate an array of techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of assistive devices to alleviate symptoms and enhance mobility.
• Closely monitor patients' progress by documenting treatments, responses, and improvements, while adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients, families, and caregivers on managing conditions and leveraging assistive modalities effectively.
• Continuously engage in professional development through workshops, networking, and contributions to the physical therapy community to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be responsible for working with a diverse patient population, including children and adults with a wide range of diagnoses. Your role will involve delivering compassionate care, helping each patient achieve their therapeutic milestones, and fostering a positive rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, showcasing proficiency in developing treatment plans and patient engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong computer skills for documentation and patient management.
• A flexible and adaptive approach to care, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation or a home care setting is highly desirable, as is familiarity with using electronic health record systems.
• Prior training or certification in specialized areas of Physical Therapy would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
