Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses and treatment needs through interviews and standardized tools.

• Develop personalized therapy plans incorporating a range of evidence-based modalities aimed at addressing individual client issues.

• Engage clients in regular therapy sessions, delivering targeted interventions and coping strategies tailored to their unique situations.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy using culturally responsive methods, being conscious of clients’ diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers for referrals and integrated treatment plans, including psychiatrists for medication management when needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in clinical practices, attending workshops and training sessions to enrich your knowledge and skillset.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our mental health counseling center serves a diverse client population, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Counselors should be prepared to work with various age groups and cultural backgrounds, fostering a safe and inclusive space for all clients to engage in therapy and express their concerns freely.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing counseling services in a mental health setting.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competence in therapy delivery.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications for client management.
\n
• Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
