Family First Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and dynamic full-time Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our team. In this role, you will partner with patients in their journey towards regaining movement and achieving their highest levels of functionality. As a physical therapist at our facility, you will carry the essential responsibility of promoting an enhanced quality of life through expert care and customized rehabilitation strategies.

Located in Fresno, California, Family First Physical Therapy is a well-regarded orthopedic outpatient practice known for its commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Our team includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all focused on ensuring each patient receives personalized attention. We operate from a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot facility designed for optimal care delivery, primarily serving individuals with private medical insurance. This allows us to implement the best treatment methodologies, focusing not only on rehabilitation but on prevention and education as well.

Work Environment

This onsite position requires you to work in our modern outpatient office, where the atmosphere is both collaborative and supportive. The office hours are set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. You'll engage closely with colleagues, contributing to a team-oriented culture that fosters continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and effectively address individual patient goals, tailoring rehabilitation programs to meet specific needs.
• Manage a manageable patient caseload, typically one individual per hour, ensuring that each patient receives the attention they deserve.
• Utilize your experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to deliver evidence-based treatment interventions.
• Craft comprehensive care plans that incorporate various effective treatment methodologies to optimize patient recovery.
• Employ innovative strategies to reduce reliance on medications and explore non-surgical alternatives for improving bodily function.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs to enhance each patient's mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.
• Inspire and motivate patients towards active participation in their recovery journey through ongoing encouragement.
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Implement EMR software, particularly WebPT, for thorough documentation and tracking of patient progress.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, monitoring advancement and adjusting care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients in the orthopedic outpatient realm, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to sports injuries. Many of our patients are motivated individuals seeking to regain their peak physical capabilities following injury or surgery, allowing you to impact their lives positively.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with an impeccable professional record and no disciplinary actions.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR software, especially WebPT, is highly preferred to ensure efficient patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic care is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop patient-specific treatment plans that yield successful outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
