Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students across preschool, elementary, and middle school settings in the San Juan Capistrano area. You’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact supporting a diverse student population while collaborating with dedicated educational teams. This role begins in mid-October and will continue through at least mid-December, with a strong likelihood of extension to the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active California SLP license in good standing
• Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school environment preferred
• Confidence managing a caseload of approximately 55 students per SLP
• Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to students across preschool, elementary, and middle school levels
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive reports, including progress monitoring documentation
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), maintaining compliance with state and district regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
• Offer training and resources to staff and families as appropriate
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
