Make a meaningful difference supporting students in the San Juan Capistrano area as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This opportunity offers full-time, on-site engagement across three school levels—preschool, elementary, and middle school—serving a diverse and inspiring student population.

This position is uniquely suited for clinicians interested in school-based services with an average caseload of 55 students, and you'll be covering for a leave of absence (LOA). The contract is projected to begin in mid-October and run into December, with potential to extend through the end of the school year and the possibility to continue after spring break.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, engage parents and teachers, and contribute to each student’s speech, language, and communication development.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active California SLP license required (ASHA CCCs strongly preferred)
• Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings highly desired
• Expertise supporting diverse age groups, from preschool through middle school
• Ability to manage multiple school sites and prioritize caseload efficiently
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school/district policies
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all students
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and school teams
• Support students’ progress through direct and consultative services
