Step into an impactful contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students in vibrant school communities throughout the San Juan Capistrano area. This opportunity offers dedicated SLP professionals the chance to work across preschool, elementary, and middle school settings as part of a Leave of Absence coverage. Multiple assignments are available, with potential to extend coverage through the end of the academic year.

Your expertise will benefit approximately 55 students per caseload, working full-time, five days a week. Collaborate on-site with multidisciplinary teams and make a difference as you empower learners to communicate effectively and achieve their goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
• Active California SLP license
• Previous experience providing speech-language services in school settings (preschool, elementary, or middle school levels)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with diverse student populations and a variety of intervention models
• Enthusiastic, resourceful, and compassionate approach toward student support

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver therapy to students with speech and language needs
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support each student’s success
• Utilize evidence-based practices and tailor interventions to individual student profiles
• Adapt to dynamic campus environments, participating actively in school-based team meetings
