Position Summary MassMutual New Mexico is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and community-connected Talent Acquisition Coordinator to help identify, attract, and retain exceptional talent for our growing organization. This is a critical role in expanding our advisor and professional staff teams by leveraging strong networking skills, local community relationships, and modern recruiting technologies, including LinkedIn Recruiter. The ideal candidate is well-connected throughout the Albuquerque and New Mexico business community, possesses a strong work ethic, and thrives in a relationship-driven environment. This role requires someone who enjoys meeting new people, building professional relationships, and creating a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding. The role has two distinct responsibilities: the primary focus is to attract top talent to MassMutual New Mexico, and the second is to retain that talent and assist in their onboarding process through career contract status. This role offers a combination of a guaranteed base salary along with commission opportunities tied to performance. Key Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, outreach, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms to identify and engage high-quality talent. Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Build relationships with local business leaders, community organizations, universities, professional associations, and networking groups to generate candidate referrals. Conduct initial candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate qualifications, cultural fit, and career motivations. Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring leaders. Promote and strengthen MassMutual New Mexico's employer brand throughout the community and online. Track recruiting activity and candidate progress through recruitment systems and reporting tools. Attend networking events, career fairs, community events, and industry functions to increase brand awareness and talent attraction efforts. Partner with leadership to execute recruiting strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives. Deliver a professional, responsive, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Qualifications Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, staffing, business development, or a related field. Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and social recruiting strategies. Well-established professional network within the Albuquerque and New Mexico business community. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and generate referrals through networking. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and interviewing skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑oriented with a strong work ethic. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software. Experience working with JobScore Preferred.
