Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Paraprofessional in an on-site, full-time position near Riverside, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for travel professionals seeking a long-term assignment. Candidates who are bilingual and have a passion for working with children across multiple grade levels will thrive in this environment, providing one-on-one support in classrooms from kindergarten through high school.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish or another language preferred).
- Experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide in a school setting.
- Skilled in 1:1 support for pediatric students.
- Comfortable working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
- Ability to adapt to various learning styles and needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educators and specialists.
- Open to travel and relocation as needed for the assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized support to students, assisting with academic tasks, classroom participation, and social interactions.
- Work closely with teachers and special education staff to implement student learning plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist in monitoring student progress and communicating observations to the teaching team.
- Support students with various educational and behavioral challenges across grade levels.
- Help maintain a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.
