Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Successful experience as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs), differentiation, and behavioral strategies
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs in various classroom settings
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about fostering student growth and building strong relationships
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in both inclusion and single classroom settings
- Design and implement IEPs tailored to individual abilities, goals, and behavioral considerations
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for academic and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service staff, and families to promote student success
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and resources to foster a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom atmosphere
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and data-driven problem-solving initiatives
