As a remote outpatient clinic, Luminary Psychiatry Clinic offers a flexible work environment that enables you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing essential care to those in need. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients to evaluate their mental health and substance use concerns, ensuring the accurate identification of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate one-on-one with clients to create personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based interventions tailored to their specific needs.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on building coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and enhancing emotional regulation techniques.

• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to provide seamless integrated care for our clients.

• Regularly engage in substance use monitoring and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client participation in their recovery process.

• Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of treatment compliance for successful outcomes.

• Maintain comprehensive records of treatment progress, including interventions and referrals, while adhering to ethical and legal documentation standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, departmental meetings, and ongoing professional development training in co-occurring disorder treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals struggling with various mental health issues and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies specific to co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A strong understanding of the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, along with the ability to apply this understanding in treatment settings.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in collaborative settings with an interdisciplinary team.

• Prior experience working in integrated care facilities or similar settings specializing in mental health and substance use treatment.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation procedures within a clinical context.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
