We are a growing commercial door company seeking an experienced Commercial Door Installer to join our small team. This role involves a variety of projects including new installations, service calls, troubleshooting, and repairs for commercial doors, automatic door systems, overhead doors, gates, and access control equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, attentive to detail, and committed to ongoing learning within the commercial door industry. Local travel is expected using manual hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and electronic access control programming tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and service commercial swinging doors, automatic doors, overhead doors, gates, and access control systems
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on various commercial door hardware and operators
• Conduct site surveys and assist with larger projects as needed
• Interact professionally with customers and represent the company on service calls
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of tools and equipment
• Collaborate effectively within a small team environment
• Use electronic programming tools for access control system setup and testing

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial door installation and service
• Proficient with commercial door installation, automatic door systems, overhead door mechanisms, gate operators, and access control systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• High attention to detail and dependability

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
