This role is set in a remote work environment, promoting a healthy work-life balance. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which facilitates consistent communication with clients and collaboration with team members. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that evaluate mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized tools and interviewing techniques to gather critical information about clients' experiences.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, preferences, and circumstances, incorporating techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Implement evidence-based interventions, monitoring client progress, and making informed adjustments to treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations.

• Educate clients and their families on various mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower and encourage their participation in the therapeutic process.

• Document client sessions and treatment plans meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards while maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in team meetings that promote shared learning and best practices within the therapeutic community.

• Actively contribute to promoting de-stigmatization of mental health issues through community outreach and advocacy efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily includes individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be instrumental in providing compassionate care that acknowledges the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. Your role will focus on empowering individuals to navigate their challenges and work towards their personal mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders, with a demonstrated ability to implement cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapy.

• Deep knowledge of psychopharmacology and an ability to foster collaborative relationships with prescribing psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling meaningful rapport-building with patients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
