Need : Workday Platform Architect


Location : Remote (EST working hours)

Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with multiple teams and developers to articulate architecture and design principles providing low level oversight for optimal implementation.
• Review code for all integrations and other modules that have platform implications for compliance to best practices and guidelines.
• Create and review architecture and design artifacts for accuracy
• Collaborate closely on data integrations and any required data architecture around Workday.
• Work closely with 3rd Party SA on Test Framework development for optimal test case coverage and end to end automation of regression testing.
• Establish and monitor platform performance metrics for all significant operations including report generation and integrations.
• Evaluate new Workday features and make recommendations on applicability to Arch and impacts to platform ecosystem on adoption of new features.
• Recommend improvements for performance and operations of the platform based on platform knowledge and thorough technical analysis.
• Identify and help develop operational usage and health metrics ( Ex: report inventory, usage statistics, ... )


Desired Skills :

Required knowledge & skills would typically be acquired through a technology degree and 15+ years of related experience in ERP system development, finance systems design & delivery with at least 5+ years of Workday experience in a senior technical role.
• Very strong Workday Finance technical skills in a senior level technical lead role o Workday Finance certification is highly desirable.
• Very strong communication skills and the ability to articulate architectural concerns to highly technical and functional stakeholders.
• Strong systems design and architectural experience around financial and ERP systems with solid understanding of data integrations.
• Good understanding of database concepts including SQL skills. Experience with Snowflake desired but not required.
• A very good understanding of a modern enterprise technology ecosystem spanning SaaS, Cloud and IT Operations.
• Strong Workday report and dashboard development skill
