divh2Accounting Assistant/h2pThe Accounting Assistant provides essential support to the finance team across multiple functions, including data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, and on-site accounts receivable activities./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliAssist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date AR and AP records and entries./liliInput and verify financial transactions into accounting software./liliEnsuring all correct invoices are processed, recorded, and paid correctly and timely./liliAssist vendors in cleaning up accounts./li/ulh3Accounts Payable/h3ulliSupport the accounts payable process by processing invoices and ensuring timely payments./liliVerify accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies./liliFacilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies./li/ulh3Accounts Receivable/h3ulliEnsure accurate collection and recording of AR payments at the hotel levels./liliEnsure all AR accounts at all hotels are within 60 days of accrual./li/ulh3Collaboration/h3ulliWork closely with the lead finance team and other departments to gather and analyze financial information./liliCollaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives./liliAssist with office related duties./liliAll other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Preferred Talents/h3ulliExcellent organizational and time management skills./liliDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy./liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills./liliEffective communication and interpersonal skills./liliBusiness experience./liliExperience with Microsoft Excel./liliExperience with Quick Books Online./liliBachelors Degree preferred, not required./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors Degree preferred, not required./liliProficient in Microsoft Excel, Quick Books Online, Microsoft 365, and A/P Experience./li/ul/div
