Currently we are advancing a multi-year pipeline of projects and growing our team to ensure effective delivery and seamless transition into operations.The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative, organizational, and communication support to the General Manager. This role manages complex calendars, coordinates meetings, events, travel, communications, and reporting, and serves as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong judgment, discretion, confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic operations environment.Essential Functions:Serves as a primary point of contact between the General Manager and internal and external stakeholders.Manages the General Manager's calendar, including scheduling, meeting prioritization, travel logistics, and coordination of key engagements.Assists the site leadership team as directed.Coordinates company meetings and events, including logistics, meeting space, catering, materials, handouts, travel arrangements, and related communications.Books travel arrangements, including flights, lodging, ground transportation, and related itinerary details.Prepares, edits, and coordinates documents, reports, presentations, meeting summaries, correspondence, and other materials for a variety of audiences.Supports non-routine administrative projects, including special events, document coordination, mailings, packages, and other site or departmental initiatives.Handles confidential and sensitive correspondence, records, and information with discretion, accuracy, and professionalism.Responds to employee administrative inquiries and provides guidance or support to department leaders and administrative staff as needed.Maintains regular, timely, and effective communication with the General Manager.Demonstrates strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental, confidentiality, and code of conduct requirements.Travel occasionally to Kettle River Operations locations as business needs require.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Skill Requirements:Minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative experience preferred, preferably supporting senior leaders or management teams.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with employees and management at all levels.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of the management support team.Strong administrative, organizational, technical writing, and document preparation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adjust effectively to changing business needs.Working knowledge of administrative procedures, office practices, records management, and business communication standards.Working knowledge of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style.Ability to use standard office equipment and technology, including phones, printers, copiers, and related business systems.Ability to function within the qualifications outlined in the attached physical demands sheets.Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.Kinross Leadership Practices:Creates an environment where nothing is more important than every employee returning home safe and healthy every day.Creates an environment in which people are unfailingly treated with respect.Fosters the talent and potential of all employees by enabling them to grow, develop, and make a difference in the organization.Demonstrates that leadership in the areas of environmental performance and community and stakeholder relations is fundamental to the way we plan and manage our business.Holds self and others accountable for the decisions, commitments, and behaviors required to deliver outstanding results.Uses judgment to manage business complexities, prioritize and balance conflicting demands to make timely decisions that best advance Kinross strategy.Models humility by going beyond self-interest for the good of the group.Understands the economic implications of decisions and consistently uses all resources effectively and efficiently to maximize shareholder value.Relentlessly champions, develops and embeds best practices.Kinross Competencies:Strategic Effectiveness: Understands business priorities and supports leaders through effective planning, coordination, and execution of administrative responsibilities.External Engagement: Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represents the General Manager's office with professionalism and credibility.Business Focus: Uses time, information, and resources effectively to support operational priorities and sound business decisions.Living the Kinross Values: Aligns behavior, decisions, and actions with Kinross values and principles, including safety, respect, accountability, and responsible performance.Language Requirements: EnglishCompensation Data:Hourly Range: $28 - $42.29/hourMedical, dental, and vision insurance401k with matchPaid time offStock purchase optionBasic life insurance
