Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients’ needs, formulating personalized and culturally sensitive treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities tailored to meet client-specific goals.

• Facilitate supportive and psychoeducational groups, creating an inclusive environment where participants can learn about mental health, share experiences, and engage with others.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and psychologists within an integrated care model to provide coordinated services that enhance patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response to client needs.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and highlight available community resources to foster independence and self-efficacy.

• Maintain and update accurate electronic health records (EHR) while adhering to all legal and ethical standards to ensure confidentiality.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current on mental health best practices.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders along with proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques.

• Experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing actionable treatment plans based on identified needs.

• Proven ability to deliver individual and group therapy across a diverse client base.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the building of trust and rapport.

• Commitment to ethical practice, along with sound judgment and adherence to professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and related technologies.

• A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health clinic or outpatient mental health setting is preferred.

• Knowledge of and experience in teletherapy or remote counseling techniques is a plus.

• Prior involvement in crisis intervention services in a mental health context is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
