Target Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000
Location: 3 day onsite in Newark, NJ
Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including oversight of AP and AR functions.
Manage monthly close, reconciliations, fixed assets, and general ledger activities.
Oversee nonprofit revenue recognition for grants, contributions, pledges, and deferred revenue. [
Support cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and daily cash management activities.
Drive process improvements, system integrations, and NetSuite training initiatives.

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience within nonprofit organizations.
Strong experience with NetSuite, preferably in a nonprofit environment.
Proven leadership skills with experience overseeing accounting operations and cross-functional collaboration.
