Job Opportunity – General Medicine Provider – Illinois

Schedule: PRN basis, 1 day per week; flexible half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) options

Highlights:

• Perform compensation and pension exams and separation health assessments for Veterans
• Primarily interview-based exams with physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities required
• Non-treatment, one-time examinations focused on evaluation and documentation
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• Must have own office space within 50-mile radius to see Veterans

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Illinois medical license
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or General Medicine background
• AANP certification required
• Proficiency in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
• Must own a laptop (Windows-based, no Mac/Apple products)
• Willingness to complete DMA training and certification
• Own office space with ADA-compliant facilities required
• Experience with compensation and pension exams preferred
• Self-Query NPDB completed within 30 days
