Responsibilities RNs support Rheumatology services while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting, supporting a team of 10 providers. The Registered Nurse-Ambulatory Procedural plays a key role in triage (preferred experience), coordinating medication refills, managing DME and supplies, and supporting clinical procedures, working a schedule of 8:00 am-4:30 pm with one closing shift per week (9:00 am-5:30 pm) during clinic hours, with no call, weekends, or holidays required. Qualifications Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred. Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies. Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
