GYMGUYZ brings personalized fitness directly to clients in their homes, offices and communities. We're looking for a Personal Training Manager who wants to do more than manage a schedule. You'll train clients, develop trainers and help grow GYMGUYZ throughout Rhode Island. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines confidence with humility, genuinely enjoys helping people succeed, and is excited by the opportunity to help build a growing business.

What You'll Own

Grow the Business

• Build relationships with local businesses, healthcare providers, senior communities, schools, sports organizations and other community partners
• Develop referral and corporate wellness partnerships
• Represent GYMGUYZ at community events and local initiatives
• Respond to inbound leads, conduct consultations and close new business
• Own new client, revenue and renewal goals
• Follow up consistently and track what is generating results

Train & Serve Clients

• Deliver creative, individualized personal training
• Conduct initial assessments and reassessments
• Build trusted relationships that lead to results, renewals and referrals
• Work with clients across different ages, abilities and fitness levels

Lead the Team

• Mentor, develop and support our personal trainers
• Help onboard new trainers
• Coach the team on programming, communication, professionalism and client retention
• Maintain a consistently high standard of service as we grow

The Kind of Leader We're Looking For

You know your craft, but you don't need to be the loudest person in the room. You listen before assuming. You adapt your approach to the person in front of you. You're as comfortable encouraging someone exercising for the first time as you are coaching an experienced athlete or developing another trainer. You're also comfortable starting conversations, building relationships, asking for the business and following up. Because to us, great leadership isn't about being the best person on the team. It's about helping the people around you become better.

What You Bring

• Nationally recognized CPT certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM or equivalent)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• 3–5 years of fitness experience with leadership or management experience
• Proven success selling and retaining personal training clients
• Strong communication, relationship-building and follow-through
• Confidence with community outreach and business development
• Ability to coach and hold others accountable with respect
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Flexibility for some early mornings and evenings

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
