Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and life situations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients effectively.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Engage with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research regarding mood disorders to continuously improve therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, working to reduce stigma and improve access to care for vulnerable populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Our focus is on creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can share their experiences and begin the healing process. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients navigate their challenges and build healthier relationships both within themselves and with their loved ones.

Qualifications\n
