Helpdesk Technician

Duration: 3-6 Month Contract-to-Hire About the Role Our client is seeking a customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join their growing Managed Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting end users, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional technical support across a diverse set of client environments while gaining hands-on exposure to a wide range of technologies. What You'll Do Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users across multiple client environments. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, desktop, and Microsoft 365 issues. Manage support requests through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service. Support Windows operating systems and Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 applications. Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, workstation deployments, equipment setup, and account administration. Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and IT processes. Collaborate with team members and elevate complex issues when necessary. What We're Looking For Previous experience in Help Desk, Desktop Support, Technical Support, or an MSP environment. Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows OS and Microsoft 365. Experience working with ticketing systems such as Autotask, ServiceNow, ConnectWise, or similar platforms. Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize multiple requests and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Nice to Have MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience. Experience supporting Dell hardware and SonicWall firewalls. Exposure to MacOS and/or Linux environments. IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar (not required).
