Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the family therapy needs of individual clients and their families, ensuring tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Involve yourself in clinical staffing, contributing to the development of service and treatment plans that prioritize family-centered care.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, alongside other assigned therapeutic responsibilities, while providing milieu management when necessary.

• Design and lead educational groups focused on substance abuse, mental health, and family dynamics, equipping clients and their families with critical knowledge and coping strategies.

• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including progress notes, patient assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to regulatory standards and deadlines.

• Establish and maintain communication with other mental health professionals and community agencies to coordinate effective treatment plans.

• Identify and implement opportunities for program improvement, actively participating in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Hold an active, unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical environment is vital.

• Experience in family therapy, couples counseling, or work with clients struggling with trauma and substance misuse is highly preferred.

• A strong understanding of relevant legal and ethical standards in mental health counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, determined by your experience and caseload availability.
