Description Position Overview: Supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance. The ADON provides clinical leadership, supervises nursing staff, and helps maintain a safe, efficient, and resident-centered environment. Key Responsibilities: As an assistant director of nursing (ADON), you will supervise and delegate nursing activities. You will evaluate performance by the nursing department and recommend improvements. You will conduct patient rounds and address complaints. You will monitor and train the nursing staff. You will ensure all insurance paperwork for incoming residents is in order. You will conduct appropriate admission assessments of incoming residents to your nursing home. Requirements Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of professional experience in long-term care, preferably as an ADON. Active RN license in the State of Illinois and in good standing.
