Payroll Assistant

Payroll Processor Duties: Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees. Provide assistance in entering and paying all wage garnishments. Process property payroll transfer reports. Ensure benefits deductions are accurate. Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and maintain data integrity. Provide support to leadership team for various other accounting-related projects. Skills: 1+ year of experience. Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). QuickBooks and PayChoice or Payroll Associates experience preferred. Schedule Notes: Responsible primarily for timekeeping. Onsite at Metropolitan Hospital. 35 hours per week with 1-hour lunch. Seeking candidates with at least 2+ years of experience in timekeeping and payroll processing (including garnishments, taxes, and year-end activities). Analytical skills required for retro pay and time calculations. Ability to work with multiple systems simultaneously. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
