Position Summary

ActaMSP is seeking a professional and results driven  Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to generate qualified business opportunities through prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting. This role is responsible for engaging prospective clients, conducting outreach to local business leaders, and scheduling qualified discovery meetings for the Business Development and Sales teams.

The ISR serves as a key contributor to pipeline growth by prospecting, researching, qualifying opportunities, and maintaining accurate CRM records. This position focuses on creating new business opportunities rather than closing sales.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, professional, and self-motivated, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. They are comfortable engaging business owners, executives, and gatekeepers through phone, email, and social media outreach and possess the persistence and discipline to consistently generate qualified opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, referrals, and social media outreach to generate qualified sales opportunities.
• Research and engage organizations that align with ActaMSP's Ideal Customer Profile.
• Qualify prospects by identifying business needs, technology initiatives, and growth opportunities.
• Maintain consistent prospecting activity, averaging 80-100 outbound calls per day.
• Schedule and confirm 8-10 qualified discovery meetings per month for the Business Development and Sales teams.
• Manage prospect follow-up, sales sequences, and accurate CRM documentation.
• Meet or exceed activity and appointment-setting goals while contributing to pipeline growth and revenue generation.

Required

• Previous experience in inside sales, business development, lead generation, appointment setting, customer service, or a related customer-facing role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with executives and business leaders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain consistent follow-up.
• Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Self-motivated, coachable, and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

 

Preferred

• B2B sales or business development experience.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales engagement tools, and CRM platforms.
• Understanding of consultative selling and opportunity qualification methodologies.
