Key Responsibilities

• Effectively implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist to achieve individualized rehabilitation goals for patients.
• Assist patients with guided therapeutic exercises, providing manual therapy, and supporting functional mobility training to facilitate progress.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy, tailored to patients' needs.
• Monitor patient progress through detailed documentation, ensuring that any changes or concerns are communicated promptly to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients comprehensively on injury prevention, lifestyle modifications, and home exercise programs that reinforce therapeutic gains.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations, facilitating accurate patient care and legal compliance.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and effective patient care that enhances recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and active PTA license in New Jersey.
