Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies for clients, ensuring each treatment plan aligns with their unique needs and goals.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care and ensure coordinated treatment approaches.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training, staying current with the latest research and methodologies in the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The EcoHealth Mental and Counseling Center serves a wide-ranging clientele, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. You will work closely with clients from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, some of whom may have limited access to traditional mental health care. This role emphasizes cultural competency and understanding of the unique experiences of your clients.

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.

  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.

  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical counseling standards.
