About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Logistics to serve as the enterprise leader in the development and execution of logistics and distribution strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective movement of various types of freight, including inbound supplier, intercompany materials, and outbound finished goods. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in logistics across multiple business and operating models, and the ability to manage both company-operated fleet activities and third-party transportation providers. The Vice President will also be tasked with leading the governance of transportation terms and freight responsibilities, and must have a strong background in contract negotiations, as well as the ability to define and redefine processes to ensure operational efficiency. Applicants for the Vice President of Logistics position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for an advanced degree or professional certifications. A minimum of 10 years' experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or related operations leadership is required, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within a complex operating environment. The ideal candidate will have a global logistics experience, a strong financial acumen, and a demonstrated record of delivering measurable improvements in EBITDA and total-landed-cost. Advanced analytical skills, the ability to use data and KPI discipline, and experience in leading enterprise transformation and technology implementation are also essential. The role demands an individual with excellent communication and presentation skills, who can effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
