About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Logistics to serve as the enterprise leader responsible for the development and execution of logistics and distribution strategy. The successful candidate will lead the safe, reliable, and cost-effective movement of various goods, including inbound supplier freight, intercompany materials, and outbound finished products. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in logistics, transportation, and supply chain management, particularly in complex operating environments. The Vice President will be tasked with establishing and maintaining an enterprise logistics strategy that aligns with the company's growth plans, customer service commitments, and financial objectives. Key responsibilities include leading and coordinating all logistics activities, optimizing the logistics network, and managing the logistics budget to deliver measurable improvements in EBITDA. Applicants for the Vice President of Logistics position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for an advanced degree or professional certifications. A minimum of 10 years' experience in logistics, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract negotiations, data analysis, and process optimization, as well as a proven ability to lead enterprise transformation and technology implementation. Global logistics experience and a strong understanding of financial management in logistics are essential. The role also demands excellent communication skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to safety and compliance in all logistics activities.
