Bonneville Peak Rehab and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Anaheim, California. Bonneville Peak Rehab and Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Anaheim. Our spacious 5,000 square-foot sports medicine center is designed to support optimal recovery and well-being. We pride ourselves on delivering patient-centered care and are dedicated to serving clients primarily with private medical insurance. Our skilled team includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to fostering a positive and empowering environment for both staff and patients.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position where you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation equipment and technology to facilitate effective treatments. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their objectives and developing tailored treatment plans that address their specific healthcare needs.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, servicing one patient per hour, allowing for focused and individualized treatment sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver personalized care, integrating innovative treatment techniques to maximize patient outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive fitness and wellness programs that promote long-term health benefits, enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor and assess treatment effectiveness, make necessary adjustments, and maintain open communication with patients regarding progress and expectations.
• Document all services and interventions accurately to maintain compliance and continuity of care.
• Collaborate regularly with physicians, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to refine care strategies and optimize patient recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. This demographic often includes individuals with sports-related injuries, age-related musculoskeletal issues, and post-operative patients seeking rehabilitation to restore functionality. Your role will be instrumental in providing compassionate care and motivation to help clients regain independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is essential.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy is required, with a clean record and no past disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience developing exercise regimens is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to provide effective, patient-centered care that leads to measurable improvements in mobility and quality of life.
• An understanding of the latest rehabilitation methodologies and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
