Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for trauma and general medical/surgical patients, including those with brain and spinal cord injuries.
• Utilize advanced skills for managing respiratory compromised patients and perform blood gas interpretation.
• Assist with reconstructive plastic surgeries, including microvascular free flaps.
• Provide care for diabetic management and complex wound management.
• Titrate drips such as cardizem, labetalol, and amiodarone according to unit protocols.
• Maintain compliance with telemetry monitoring and provide basic EKG interpretation.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of West Virginia or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in a fast-paced step-down unit is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to have strong assessment skills and adaptability.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• No BSN requirement, but strong clinical skills are essential.
