Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing our therapists to engage with patients in a comfortable setting that suits their needs. While the role is remote, collaboration is emphasized through regular virtual team meetings and case consults. We encourage flexibility in our therapists' schedules, accommodating patient needs and ensuring optimal care delivery. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some allowance for flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans with measurable goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate meaningful therapeutic sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that address prevalent mental health issues, fostering a sense of community and connection among clients.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other members of the healthcare team to provide holistic care that meets the diverse needs of our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating expertise and compassion in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resource utilization to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation regarding client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress, in compliance with all legislative and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, contribute to team meetings, and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment to continually improve practice effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• Strong understanding of a variety of mental health disorders and a proven track record of delivering effective evidence-based treatments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
