Our partner companies in SF are hiring across industries — AI in healthcare, developer infrastructure, restaurant and commerce tech, fintech, legal, HR, and more. An example of the range of some startups we're working with right now: seed-stage API infrastructure startup looking for its very first sales hire — you'd build the entire outbound motion from zero alongside the founder and a team of 5. Series A healthcare-AI company scaling its founding GTM team as enterprise demand takes off. YC-backed legal-AI startup (~13 people, SF) whose platform handles roughly 80% of legal work so in-house teams only pay for the critical 20% …and several others in both cities. What these roles look like Every founding GTM seat we place shares the same DNA: Own outbound from scratch — cold email, LinkedIn, and calls into your target market. You build the system, not just run someone else's script. Work directly with the founders or sales leader on ICP, messaging, and market feedback — your insight shapes how the company sells. Book and qualify meetings , run early discovery, and hand off cleanly as deals progress. Use AI aggressively — LLMs and automation for research, personalization, and scaling your outreach. Grow into a closing AE role , typically within 9–18 months, as the company scales and your pipeline converts. Who we're looking for We are heavily prioritizing candidates with tech sales experience. New grads can apply but need to sell us on their experience and yearning for sales. 1–3 years of outbound sales / SDR / BDR experience — or a non-traditional background (finance, consulting, ops, athletics, a strong academic record) and a genuine drive to break into tech sales. High-agency and scrappy — you thrive without a pre-built playbook and treat outbound like a system to debug, not a script to follow. AI-native — you actually use LLMs and automation daily and have opinions from real experience, not hype. Early-stage energy — you have been in early stage or are leaving big tech and want the ambiguity, speed, and ownership of a startup, not the comfort of a big-co machine. Competitive and coachable — former athletes, top performers, and people with something to prove tend to do exceptionally well here. Comp & logistics Base salary typically ranges from ~$60K to ~$100K, depending on the company's stage, the role, and location. On-target earnings vary by role, with uncapped commission at all of them and meaningful early-stage equity at most. Locations: primarily San Francisco and New York City (Most in-office 5-days a week) Most roles do not offer visa sponsorship.
