Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough initial assessments to develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions with a strong focus on developing coping strategies and resilience.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record (EHR) software.
\n
• Ensuring compliance with all confidentiality requirements as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

• Engaging in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to refine therapeutic skills and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clients often present with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your cultural competence will be vital in creating tailored approaches that respect and integrate the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license in California.
\n
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong communication skills to provide effective bilingual psychotherapy services.

• At least 2 years of experience in a mental health setting, preferably within behavioral health.
\n
• A commitment to cultural competency, showing sensitivity to the diverse needs of families.
\n
• Willingness to work as an in-network provider on at least one insurance panel.
\n
• A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or training in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, or perinatal mental health.

• Experience in using EHR systems effectively as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and telehealth software.

• A passion for ongoing professional growth, including techniques for short-term therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus a generous sign-on bonus.
