Join a dedicated team providing exceptional patient care in a supportive environment—ready to start on 05/18/2026, with an expected contract end date of 08/15/2026.Location: 2510 West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71118Start Date: 05/18/2026End Date: 08/15/2026Shift: Evening/Night, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)Hours per Week: 36-40 hours (4 days one week, 3 days the next)Employment Type: ContractLicense/Certs: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (NRP preferred)Experience: Minimum 2 years PICU experience; cross-training and ability to float to Adult ICU or Med/Tele preferredPay & BenefitsHourly Pay Rate: $53.60Benefits include:Competitive pay packagesWeekly direct deposit pay scheduleComprehensive medical benefits (W-2)Robust referral bonus programPaid sick time in accordance with applicable lawsLicensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicableWhat You'll DoProvide high-quality nursing care to PICU patients with diagnoses including MS, DKA, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Neuro conditions, and post-surgical careTitrate medications such as pressors, insulin, heparin, and sedation agentsManage IV access, including peripheral, CVL, and telemetry monitoringPerform wound care, drains management, and handle wound vacsCollect blood samples and perform IV proceduresCollaborate with hospital staff including intensivists, hospitalists, and RTs for optimal patient careFollow hospital policies and safety protocols, utilizing Meditech Expanse EMR systemWhat You NeedRequired:Valid RN license in Louisiana or applicable stateBLS, ACLS, and PALS certificationsAt least 2 years PICU experience; permissive if willing to float to Adult ICU or Med/TeleSkilled in PIV, CVL, telemetry, wound care, and titration of critical medicationsPreferred:Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR and Alaris pumpsAbility to handle complex patient cases including neuro, respiratory, and post-op careAbout the Assignment Join a leading facility in Shreveport, Louisiana, known for its traveler-friendly, family-oriented culture.
