- # Senior Technical Program Manager, AI Strategic InitiativesBoise, Idaho, United States of AmericaApply NowFind out how well you match with this jobJob ID: JR113292**Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for *all*.**Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. **Key Responsibilities*** Establish the program framework for Compute PE's AI initiatives, including timelines, dependencies, risks, and outcomes across concurrent workstreams.* Build alignment among Compute PE, Design, Technology Development, DRAM/NAND business units, and partner teams to keep workstreams on track.* Track initiative status, identify risks early, and partner with teams to resolve issues across organizational boundaries.* Create clear reporting for senior leaders on portfolio health, progress, and key decisions.* Partner with Product Development Team Leads (PDTLs) and engineering leaders to incorporate AI requirements into product roadmaps.* Identify coordination gaps and implement process improvements to accelerate critical initiatives.* Facilitate decision-making forums, track commitments, and maintain a reliable source of information for program status.* Apply AI-enabled tools and agentic solutions, such as Code Assist and Cloud Assist, to improve productivity in program workflows, reporting, and analysis. **Required Qualifications*** Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field, plus 8+ years in the semiconductor industry with strong understanding of memory/compute product development.* Experience leading complex, technical programs, involving multiple teams from definition through execution.* Deep familiarity with product engineering workflows — ideal backgrounds include PDTL, Engineering Execution Managers, or similar roles* Ability to synthesize technical complexity into clear executive communication* Demonstrated success achieving results through collaboration across organizations without direct authority, with proficiency using AI enabled tools and AI-augmented workflows, including Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-assisted approaches. **Preferred Qualifications*** Product engineering leadership experience (PDTL, EEM) in DRAM, HBM, or compute-adjacent product lines* Familiarity with Micron's product development processes, stage-gate frameworks, and cross-BU collaboration* Understanding of AI/ML hardware trends and their intersection with memory and compute products* Business operations or planning experience in a technology organization* Hands-on experience with agentic AI solutions or AI assistants (e.g., Roo Code, Code Assist, Cloud Assist) As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
