Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center is a 60-bed long-term care facility located in beautifulBowling Green, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preservingdignity and providing compassionate care. We are currently seeking motivated Registered Nurses to work in our Clinical department as a Charge Nurse.These 4 (four) positions will serve in the role of Administrative Charge Nurse and supervise professional andancillary employees in the administration of efficient nursing care. We have 2nd and 3rd positions availablewith every other weekend off. Applicants should have an active, unrestricted status as a Registered Nurse (RN)on the KBN licensure verification. Skill and expectations for this position include but are not limited to: Good communications and documentation skills Good work ethics Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Team leader Administer medications and treatments, as well as helping to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of our Veterans. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have two years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in nursing will substitute for one year of the required experience. Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be licensed in Kentucky as a registered nurse or possess a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. ; Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
