Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of family dynamics, identifying key issues and areas of concern that affect relationships.

• Facilitate therapy sessions with families and couples, addressing maladaptive behaviors and fostering healthier interaction patterns.

• Educate clients on the impact of their behaviors and communication styles on their family dynamics.
\n
• Develop personalized treatment plans that include strategic goals, measurable outcomes, and advocacy strategies tailored to each family’s unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and culturally sensitive approaches to enhance therapeutic effectiveness, ensuring inclusivity in therapy.

• Assist families in managing crises, processing grief, and improving children’s educational situations by collaborating with schools and other community resources.

• Regularly document client progress and adapt treatment methodologies as necessary to align with evolving family dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on families and couples seeking therapy for challenges such as communication breakdowns, relationship conflicts, parenting difficulties, and emotional distress. You will serve a diverse clientele, which may include families from various cultural backgrounds. Understanding their unique experiences and perspectives will be essential in delivering effective interventions and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is required.

• Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as mandated by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professionals.

• Strong interpersonal skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing therapy to families and couples.

• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
