Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced customer account professional to serve as the primary liaison between clients, sales, and our plant/print teams, ensuring clear communication, accurate order processing, and seamless project execution. The ideal candidate can “speak the language” of the industry, translate client needs into production-ready specifications, and support account managers in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a collaborative, detail-oriented role focused on coordination, accuracy, and client satisfaction. Are you quick on your feet and possess grit? • First point of contact for the relationship with major clients as it relates to manufacturing, planning, distribution, packaging, and supply chain activities
• Integrate data from multiple sources to produce reports; generate reports using system tools and data warehouse queries
• Analyze data for trends, patterns, accuracy and use data to draw conclusions/produce key takeaways, executive summaries and dashboards
• Identifies & documents issues and concerns, assesses feasible resolutions, presents options, and changes plans as determined
• Ensure SCS and all clients are operating within the contract and established SLAs within time constraints
• Acts as a liaison between the client and SCS on all aspects of manufacturing, distribution and transportation and be the conduit to the Operational and support functions
• Responsible for reporting needs, product complaints, and service issues
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise risk mitigation plans
• Partner with internal team (planning, OE, MD, distribution, transportation, finance, etc) to ensure exceptional end-to-end service for clients
• This role has an impact on the business in terms of organization strategy in dealing with third party vendors and the work methods used to provide contract agreed practices, pricing and communications for best results
• Participates in contract & SLA development & adherence both internally and with the client
• Provide KPI reports for major customers

Client & Account Support

• Serve as the primary internal contact for assigned accounts, supporting account managers and clients throughout the order lifecycle
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding specifications, timelines, artwork requirements, and production constraints
• Translate client requests into actionable information for plant and print production teams
• Produce quotations - preparing and delivering formal price proposals to prospective customers 
• Proactively address questions, changes, and potential issues to ensure smooth project execution

  Plant & Production Liaison

• Act as a bridge between sales and manufacturing, ensuring alignment on specs, materials, and deadlines
• Coordinate closely with pressing, print, and production teams to confirm feasibility and scheduling
• Clarify technical requirements including formats, plating, packaging, and print specifications
• Monitor production status and communicate updates to internal teams and clients

  Order Management & Administrative Support

• Enter and manage orders accurately within internal systems
• Review order details for completeness and accuracy before submission to production
• Support account managers with quotes, documentation, and follow-up communication
• Maintain organized records and ensure data accuracy across systems

  Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business management, logistics, marketing, or related field preferred 
• A minimum of 4 years' customer service or account management experience 
• Deep knowledge of demand planning, supply chain planning, inventory replenishment, forecasting, scheduling, inventory optimization, and manufacturing within a large-scale environment 
• Strong working knowledge of ERP, information interfaces, purchasing, material planning and inventory control systems and how they enable supply chain performance with the ability to initiate and manage continuous improvement
• High degree of proficiency in O365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint), web-based and Windows based software
• Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to earn the trust and confidence of customers and stakeholders (internal/external)
• High level of accountability, proven ability to take ownership of responsibilities and strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work independently 
• Highly self-motivated with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines within an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
• Excellent professional level written and verbal communication skills - ability to interface and communicate effectively with multiple functional groups, geographic regions/cultures, different levels of internal and external organizations
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, other departments and interact with various work behavior styles
• Solid negotiation and collaboration skills - able to influence outcomes and bring initiatives to successful completion
• Must be professional, dependable, and possess good business acumen and judgment

Work Environment

This job operates in an onsite professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, laptop cameras, smart phones, printers / photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (verbal/written), converse with and exchange information with others. The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time; occasionally move between their workspace and office machinery. The person in this position must operate a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine, printer, calculator; pull/retrieve/file documents in a filing cabinet. May need to position oneself to move between tight, high, or low spaces. Seeing abilities required by this job include detecting/identifying/recognizing/inspecting objects close to the employee, within a distance, peripherally, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
