Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality therapeutic services, including one-on-one counseling and family therapy sessions, designed to address mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting measurable goals and regularly reviewing progress.

• Advocate for clients by facilitating connections to a wide range of community resources, such as housing assistance, employment support, and social services, to address their holistic needs.

• Conduct crisis interventions for clients in acute distress, employing techniques that address issues like suicidal ideation and severe anxiety or trauma responses.

• Engage in educational initiatives aimed at reducing stigma and promoting mental health awareness in the Rutland community.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential case records, treatment plans, and therapy notes in strict accordance with HIPAA compliance and state regulations.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Many clients may be experiencing significant life transitions, trauma, or struggling with chronic mental health conditions. Cultural competence and an understanding of the unique challenges posed by Vermont’s rural setting will be vital in effectively addressing our clients' needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active Vermont LCSW license, with the capability to provide independent clinical services.

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals and families, showcasing a professional history of empathy, compassion, and respect for diverse backgrounds.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health, along with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
