Dietary Kitchen Supervisor
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietary Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Dietary Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of patient care through exceptional food service. Our center is committed to providing state-of-the-art post-acute care and rehabilitation services, and we are looking for a talented individual to help us achieve this mission.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of dietary staff, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our patients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for our patients
- Conduct routine quality control checks to ensure high-quality food service
- Maintain accurate records of patient meals and nutrition intake
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a dietary kitchen or related field
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
