Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Physical Therapist at Northern Light, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and treating patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
• Establishing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, employing modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced equipment.
• Documenting treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress to ensure continuity of care.
• Regularly reassessing and adjusting treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Recommending and fitting assistive devices to facilitate patients' mobility and self-care.
• Providing education and training to patients, caregivers, and family members on physical therapy techniques, assistive devices, and self-management strategies.
• Participating in ongoing professional development, including workshops and networking opportunities, to stay current with advancements in physical therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse range of patients, from children to adults, facing various orthopedic challenges. You will have the chance to work with individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.

• Proficient computer skills for documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 - 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
