Global Commercial Excellence Director

As the Global Commercial Excellence Director, youwill lead the global commercial excellence strategy for the Refinish business, driving profitable growth, operational efficiency, and sales and service effectiveness. This role partners with executive stakeholders to align commercial processes, technology, and organizational capabilities with customer needs while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.You will be based in Pittsburgh, PA (USA) and will travel 50-70%.Key Responsibilities:Develop the long-term commercial excellence roadmap to support growth, profitability, and customer-focused sales and service strategies.Partner with executive business leaders and global teams to achieve strategic goals and lead organizational transformation.Lead teams responsible for pricing and revenue optimization, master data strategy, contract management, customer service, sales team development, business process improvement, and project management.Identify opportunities to simplify processes, enhance commercial tools, improve sales and service effectiveness and lead subsequent improvements.Collaborate with IT to modernize and improve the commercial application landscape, reducing complexity and improving the end-user experience.Increase adoption of global business solutions, automation programs, and process improvements across the organization.Lead change management, communications, and training programs to improve commercial performance and organizational agility.Ensure alignment between commercial excellence programs and enterprise-wide process, technology, and capital investment strategies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required15+ years of experience in Business, Sales, Finance, IT, Sales Operations, or related functions, with a focus on business transformation, process improvement, commercial operations, or strategic execution.10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and developing talent.Experience leading organizational transformation, process optimization, and CRM or enterprise system initiatives.Strong project management, problem-solving, and change leadership experience.How we work: At PPG, we bring teams together to accelerate collaboration and career development, with in-person work Monday through Thursday and the opportunity to work remotely on Flexible Fridays.
