Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our production floor team, where you will play a crucial role in assembling wire harness and cable assemblies. You will be responsible for attaching electronic components onto plastic pieces, reading work orders, and following production drawings to assemble products accurately. This position requires positioning and aligning parts to each other and performing other duties as assigned. Candidates should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wire harness and cable assemblies.
• Attach electronic components onto plastic pieces.
• Read work orders and follow production drawings to assemble products.
• Position and align parts accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience in kitting and cable assembly.
• Proficiency in crimping, production assembly, and soldering.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Familiarity with wiring, power tools, and electrical assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in electronic assembly is a plus.

Work Environment

Work on the 3rd shift from 10:30 pm to 7 am, Sunday through Thursday, in a clean, climate-controlled, and organized environment. The facility is well-lit and offers a lean manufacturing setting. You will work in the HCS (Harting Cable Solutions) department, where each candidate is provided their own station or rotates stations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
