Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver patient care for ICU patients across adult populations, ensuring safety and adherence to unit standards.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and IV therapies, titrate drips, manage life-support equipment, and respond promptly to clinical changes.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record with accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and support staff) to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate safe transitions of care.
- Provide patient and family education, participate in discharge planning, and support transfers when appropriate.
- Uphold infection control practices, safety protocols, and HIPAA requirements; demonstrate professionalism and effective communication with staff, patients, and families.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of California
- BLS certification required (per American Heart Association guidelines)
- ACLS certification required; PALS certification within six months of hire
- EPIC experience required
- At least two years of ICU experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Vaccinations required as a condition of employment where applicable; medical and religious exemptions may apply
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU environment and to fulfill a 3x12-hour day shift schedule
