This travel assignment places an ICU-focused RN on a 13-week assignment in a critical access hospital setting. The role requires clinical judgment across the adult, and potentially geriatric, population with a focus on ICU level care and patient safety. The assignment supports a day-shift schedule with documented hours and is housed in a facility that provides 24/7 patient care.

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and implement patient care for the ICU patient population served on the unit.
- Monitor critical patient status, administer medications and therapies per orders, and respond rapidly to changes in condition.
- Document patient care in the electronic health record (EPIC) and communicate findings with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, patients and families.
- Collaborate with the ICU team to develop and adjust care plans, participate in rounds, and ensure adherence to unit standards and safety protocols.
- Perform procedures and participate in ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring as appropriate; maintain infection control and patient safety practices.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional behavior, contributing to a respectful, compliant work environment.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of California.
- ACLS certification required; BLS certification following American Heart Association guidelines required.
- PALS certification required within six months of hire.
- At least two years of ICU experience and/or completion of an approved ICU training course; basic computer skills; EPIC experience preferred.
- Vaccination policy compliance required per facility policy; E-Verify participation may be required.
- Ability to work in an ICU setting and collaborate effectively with the care team.
