Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Commercial Glaziers for projects located in the Van Nuys, CA area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Install glass in storefronts, curtain walls, windows, doors, skylights, mirrors, shower enclosures, and glass railing systems
Measure, cut, grind, and polish glass to precise specifications
Install and secure metal, wood, and vinyl framing systems
Apply sealants, gaskets, and weatherproofing materials to ensure watertight and airtight installations
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
Safely handle and install large glass panels and glazing systems
Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules
Requirements
7+ years of commercial glazing experience
Strong experience with storefronts, curtain walls, and commercial glass systems
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and shop drawings
Knowledge of glazing tools, sealants, and installation methods
